Speaker Eligibility
Current Chamber Membership: Speakers must be active members in good standing with the Chamber both at the time of their Participation Request submission and at the time of their speaking engagement.
Professional Expertise and Relevant Experience: Applicants should demonstrate expertise and experience directly related to the topic for which they wish to speak. This could be through years of professional experience, certifications, or specialized training.
- Community and Chamber Alignment: Speakers should have a demonstrated commitment to the Chamber’s mission and values, ideally shown through past engagement in Chamber events, programs, or other community initiatives.
- Availability and Reliability: Speakers should be able to commit to the agreed-upon dates and be reliable in terms of preparation, responsiveness, and punctuality. This ensures the Chamber can count on high-quality, timely presentations for events.
- Presentation Skills and Audience Engagement: Ideally, speakers should have experience with public speaking and the ability to engage an audience. They may be asked to provide references, testimonials, or a sample of a past presentation.

Participation Request and Selection Process
The Chamber’s Expert Network is an exclusive opportunity for our members to connect with the community by sharing their expertise. While we invite any current Chamber members to submit a participation request, submission of this request does not guarantee selection as a speaker. Speakers are chosen based on topic relevance, event needs, and the applicant’s expertise.
To ensure fair access and maintain up-to-date information, participation requests are valid for 12 months from the submission date. After this period, members are encouraged to reapply for consideration in the following year.
